We understand the importance of innovation and making a difference. So, KCS IT became Venture Partner of Montepio Acredita Portugal – a nonprofit organization responsible for the largest entrepreneurship event in Europe.

We work so every person might follow their enterprising dreams and will to innovate.

That is why we launched the K.Tech Prize, targeted at new information technology projects and their implementation in conventional business areas.

Everyone who has an idea to carry out or an ongoing project that needs a boost may submit their application free of charge.

The idea will then be subject to assessment and establishment of a business plan. Semi-finalists will receive guidance from a KCS IT team member for project development and assessment of its digital format.

Winning projects will have a chance to establish strategic partnerships with a view to being implemented in the market, specifically receiving a flextime schedule for applying best practices.

The winners:

In partnership with the Regional Government of the Azores, the Azores Business Development Society and Coding Academy, KCS IT developed an innovation hub in Terceira island in the Azores – Terceira Tech Island.

The purpose of this innovation and social support program is to boost the potential of this location.
To do that, we invest in the professional shifting of careers towards technology through coding academies and promote professional certification with a focus on innovation and product creation.

This program facilitates professional coaching and mentoring with the aim of transmitting knowledge and guiding every project participant.
